KEYNOTE PRESENTATION - Monday, April 27
Lea Harms knows 911 inside and out—and from every angle. She started her career at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office as a cross-trained telecommunicator and supervisor, where she learned that "controlled chaos" is just another Tuesday. After leading training programs, managing 911 operations, and earning commendations for her work during high-profile emergencies, Lea transitioned to the tech side of public safety at Mark43, Verizon, and now RapidSOS, where she serves as ECC Training & Engagement Manager.
At RapidSOS, Lea builds training programs for emergency communication centers worldwide, helping agencies unlock the full power of life-saving technology. She's also the author of "Lives on the Line: Stories from America's First-First Responders" (2024)—a memoir that pulls back the curtain on what really happens when the phone rings at 911.
